Honest Travel Advisory
Who this Offbeat Kashmir: Gurez & Doodhpathri itinerary is NOT for
- •Foreign nationals: Access to Gurez is restricted for foreign passport holders. Ask us before booking; we will suggest an alternative northern valley.
- •Anyone who needs hotel comforts: Stays in Gurez are clean and warm but simple. Hot water may be by bucket, and there is little to no mobile signal.
- •Early- or late-season travellers: The Razdan pass usually opens around May or June and closes with the first heavy snow in November. Outside that window this route cannot run.
If any of these apply to your party, speak to us and we will adapt the route.

Do we need a permit for Gurez?
