The railway station for Vaishno Devi is Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (SVDK), on the Jammu–Udhampur–Srinagar–Baramulla line. Vande Bharat trains run from New Delhi (22439/22440 and 22477/22478) in about 8 hours, and other trains reach Katra through Jammu Tawi. From the station, take a taxi or auto into Katra: the main Yatra Registration Counter is near the bus stand. The same line carries the Vande Bharat on to Srinagar in about 3 hours.

Taxi or auto into Katra
The main Yatra Registration Counter (YRC) is near the Katra bus stand. A second counter, YRC II, is near the second bus stand on Udhampur road, about 1 km away.
