Arrive at Srinagar Airport. Meet our chauffeur and transfer directly to an authentic Deluxe Houseboat on Dal Lake. Relax with afternoon Kashmiri Kahwa and embark on a private 1-hour sunset Shikara ride across floating vegetable gardens and lotus canals.

Srinagar to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds)
After breakfast, journey southwards to Pahalgam (90 km, ~2.5 hours) past the saffron fields of Pampore and 9th-century Awantipura ruins. Check into your riverside resort (Hotel Pine Spring / Heevan Resorts). Spend an unhurried afternoon walking along the crystal Lidder River.

Depart Pahalgam across the Kashmir valley up into the Pir Panjal range to Gulmarg (8,700 ft / 2,652 m). Check into your hotel in Gulmarg (Hotel Royal Castle or similar). Board the Gulmarg Gondola up to Phase 1 Kongdoori and Phase 2 Apharwat Peak (13,780 ft).
