Meet and greet by your dedicated chauffeur outside Udhampur Railway Station (UHP). Drive north via the modern Chenani-Nashri and Banihal Qazigund tunnels directly into the Kashmir Valley (approx. 4.5–5.5 hours). Check into your traditional cedarwood houseboat on Dal Lake and enjoy a complimentary sunset shikara ride.

Who this Kashmir from Udhampur Railway Station itinerary is NOT for
- •Departure Day Road Time: The drive from Pahalgam to Udhampur Railway Station takes around 4.5 to 5 hours. Please book a return train departing Udhampur in the late afternoon or evening (after 3:30 PM).
- •Udhampur vs Jammu Station: Udhampur Railway Station sits roughly 60 km north of Jammu Tawi, saving you over an hour of highway driving and city traffic when entering or exiting the Kashmir Valley.

Why choose Udhampur pickup instead of Jammu?
Udhampur is closer to the Chenani-Nashri tunnel and the Kashmir highway than Jammu Tawi. Arriving at Udhampur cuts out Jammu city traffic and shortens the driving distance to Srinagar by approximately 60 km.
Can this itinerary be extended to include Doodhpathri?
Yes! We can easily add a 5th night in Srinagar for a day trip to the pristine meadows of Doodhpathri.
