Jammu Railway Station to Srinagar
Morning pickup from Jammu Railway Station. Journey across the Pir Panjal mountain range to Srinagar (approx. 250 km, 7–8 hours). Check in to your hotel or Deluxe Houseboat on Dal Lake and unwind with a serene 1-hour sunset Shikara ride.

Srinagar to Gulmarg Day Trip
Full day excursion to the alpine resort of Gulmarg (55 km, ~1.5 hours) at 8,700 ft. Ride the world-renowned Gulmarg Gondola up to Kongdoori and Apharwat Peak for breathtaking views of snow-capped Himalayan ranges. Return to Srinagar hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Srinagar to Sonamarg Day Excursion
Drive along the turquoise waters of the Sindh River to Sonamarg (the Meadow of Gold) at 2,730 m (90 km, ~2.5 hours). Enjoy a pony ride or easy hike to the foot of the Thajiwas Glacier with scenic pine forest backdrops. Return to your hotel in Srinagar.

Srinagar to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds)
After breakfast, depart for Pahalgam (90 km, ~2.5 hours) with stops at the saffron fields of Pampore and the ancient Awantipura temple ruins. Check into your riverside hotel in Pahalgam and spend the afternoon exploring the lush banks of the Lidder River and Betaab Valley.

Pahalgam Direct to Jammu Drop
Early morning departure southwards directly from Pahalgam to Jammu Railway Station / Airport or Katra (250 km, 6–7 hours). Reach Jammu by late afternoon in time for your onward train or flight.

Is this 5-day trip too rushed?
Because all major daytime travel is kept between Srinagar base and the meadows (1.5 to 2.5 hours each way), it provides a balanced mix of sightseeing without changing hotels every night until the final stay in Pahalgam.
Can we do this package by Vande Bharat train from Jammu?
Yes, you can opt for the Vande Bharat rail journey from Jammu to Srinagar/Anantnag, and our private cab will handle all valley tours and the return leg.
