Arrive Srinagar
Airport pickup, Shalimar Bagh and Chashme Shahi, then a shikara at sunset to your houseboat.

Sonamarg
Sonamarg first, while everyone is fresh: about two and a half hours along the Sindh, then the meadow and the Thajiwas glacier on foot or by pony, with union taxis at fixed rates.

Gulmarg’s meadow and the two-phase gondola, Kongdoori then Apharwat (tickets extra). If the gondola queue is long, Khilanmarg is a higher meadow on foot or by pony.

Srinagar to Pahalgam
Check out of the houseboat and drive south: the saffron fields of Pampore, the 9th-century ruins at Avantipora, then up the Lidder into Pahalgam.

A full day on the Lidder: Aru’s meadow in the morning and Betaab valley after lunch, by local union taxi at fixed rates.

- •Anyone on a morning flight home: The last day starts in Pahalgam. Book an afternoon flight, or end with a night in Srinagar instead.

Yes. We swap a Srinagar night for Gulmarg; it adds the quiet evening on the meadow.
Is this good for families with small children?
Yes. Every day trip is under three hours each way, and two nights in Pahalgam keep the pace slow.
