Srinagar to Doodhpathri Excursion · Valley of Milk
Drive 42 km through walnut groves and pine ridges to Doodhpathri (the Valley of Milk). Walk along the gushing Shaliganga and Sukhnag rivers, relax on emerald carpets of grass, and taste warm kehwa at riverside kiosks before returning to Srinagar.

Depart early morning for Gurez Valley via Bandipora. Climb the switchbacks of Razdan Pass (3,557 m) for breathtaking panoramas of the Greater Himalayas. Descend into Dawar beside the turquoise Kishanganga River.

Both destinations offer untouched alpine nature away from tourist congestion. Doodhpathri provides peaceful rolling meadows and pine streams without pony pushiness, while Gurez and Tulail provide raw Himalayan frontier grandeur.
What network works in Gurez?
Only postpaid SIM cards from Jio and Airtel work in Dawar. Prepaid non-J&K SIM cards are barred by telecom security rules in Jammu & Kashmir.
