College study tours and industrial visits in Kashmir.
A college tour can cover more ground than a school trip: a longer route, an institutional visit, a day in the mountains. Here is how to build one around a department’s syllabus.

The short answer
Pick the route by department, then add one visit that only Kashmir can give.
Geography students head for Sonamarg and the Zojila road, and in summer on to Ladakh. Horticulture and agriculture students time the trip for the orchards or the Pampore saffron harvest. Architecture and civil engineering students spend time in the Mughal gardens and the old city and cross the Chenab bridge by train. Tourism and hotel management students study a destination that runs on houseboats, union taxis and seasonal demand. We request institutional or industrial visits in advance; they depend on the host’s approval.

Industrial and institutional visits
Kashmir’s industry is mostly crafts, horticulture and tourism, so the strongest visits are to workshops, orchards, saffron processing and the hospitality trade. We request each visit in writing, with the institution’s letter, weeks in advance; the host decides whether and when it can take place.

Questions
What people ask us.
How many days does a college tour to Kashmir need?
Five to seven nights covers Srinagar, one or two mountain days and a subject visit. Add a week for Ladakh.
Can you arrange industrial visits in Kashmir?
We request them in advance with your institution’s letter: craft workshops, orchards, saffron units and the hospitality trade. The host decides whether the visit can happen.
Is Ladakh suitable for college students?
For older students in summer, yes, with a rest day in Leh at 3,500 m and a medical check for anyone with heart or lung conditions.
What is the cheapest way to get a college group to Kashmir?
Usually the train to Jammu or Katra, then the Vande Bharat to Srinagar. We quote it alongside flights so you can compare.
