Snow at Apharwat, the second stage of the Gulmarg Gondola

Corporate travel · Incentives

Incentive trips and dealer meets in Kashmir.

An incentive trip has to feel like a reward, not a company outing. Kashmir does most of the work: a houseboat night, the snow at the top of the gondola, an evening that people talk about afterwards.

For

Sales teams, dealers, channel partners

3 to 5 nights

Destinations

Kashmir; Ladakh for adventure

Includes

A recognition evening

The short answer

Give people experiences they would not book for themselves.

A good incentive trip in Kashmir mixes a night on a heritage houseboat, the Gulmarg Gondola, a day in Pahalgam or Sonamarg and one evening built around recognition: awards, a traditional Kashmiri dinner and music. For dealer meets, add a half-day business session at the start, while everyone is fresh. Ladakh suits a smaller, adventurous group in summer, with a rest day for the altitude.

The recognition evening

Most incentive groups want one evening that is about the people being rewarded. We arrange the hall or lawn at the hotel, a stage, sound and lighting through the hotel or local suppliers, and the dinner. A traditional wazwan, the multi-course Kashmiri feast, makes the evening feel like Kashmir; vegetarian menus are arranged alongside it.

Welcome kits and gifts from Kashmir

Gifts that come from the place mean more than branded merchandise: Kashmir saffron from Pampore, pashmina, papier-mâché and walnut-wood pieces from Srinagar workshops. Kashmir saffron, Kashmir pashmina, papier-mâché and walnut-wood carving all carry Geographical Indication tags. We source them from known sellers and pack them for the group.

Ladakh for an adventurous group

Ladakh suits smaller incentive groups who want something bigger: Leh, the Indus valley monasteries, and on longer trips Nubra and Pangong. Leh is at 3,500 m, so the first day there is for rest, and the high passes come after. The road from Srinagar is usually open from around April or May to November; flights to Leh run all year. Anyone with a heart or lung condition should check with a doctor first.

Questions

What people ask us.

What makes a good incentive trip destination?+

Experiences people would not book for themselves, comfortable hotels and short transfers. Kashmir gives you houseboats, snow, mountains and food that feel special, within a few hours of most Indian cities.

Can we hold a dealer meet in Srinagar?+

Yes. Hold the business session at a Srinagar hotel at the start of the trip, then the leisure days. We arrange the hall, seating and equipment with the hotel.

How many nights should an incentive trip be?+

Three to five. Four nights fits a houseboat night, Gulmarg, the recognition evening and a relaxed departure.

Is Ladakh suitable for an incentive trip?+

For smaller groups in summer, yes, with a rest day in Leh for the altitude. For larger or older groups, Kashmir is easier.
